Why Go Greek?
Joining a sorority is one of the best ways to develop friendships that will sustain you for a lifetime. The bonds you make with your sisters will prove to be some of the strongest relationships of your life. You will also make connections with other members of the Greek community on your campus. While you may belong to different organizations, you will all be united by Panhellenic Pride. These friendships can also prove to be valuable professional connections. In today's world, you cannot underestimate the value of networking. One of your sisters or another Greek could help you achieve your professional goals by helping you land your dream job. Every organization has a network of alumnae that can help you navigate the beginning of your life after you graduate. Greek life can also prepare you for your professional life by teaching you invaluable leadership skills. People who hold leadership positions in their Greek organizations learn how to manage conflict, communicate with different types of people, multitask, plan large events, and so much more. If you want to make lifelong friendships and professional connections while also developing your leadership skills, you should go Greek!
